This painting, titled “In Memory of the Nameless Hazara Victims,” is dedicated to all those who were killed throughout history without their names or traces ever being preserved. The dark colors and blurred shadows represent enforced forgetting — a memory that was meant to be erased. The faint outlines of faces upon the canvas are images of souls wandering through earth and history. The few delicate points of light within the darkness symbolize hope and endurance — a reminder that even when names are erased, the truth can never be silenced. “In Memory of the Nameless Hazara Victims” is not only a mourning for the past, but also a cry for historical justice — for the restoration of voice and identity to those who were silently taken from us.
